Back Pain Relief: Bowen Technique vs. Classical Massage – A Comparative Approach to Neuromuscular Modulation
Back pain is one of the most common musculoskeletal complaints globally, often leading individuals to seek various forms of manual therapy. This presentation explores the effectiveness of the Bowen technique compared to classical massage in the management of chronic and acute low back pain. In this talk, we’ll examine case studies, outcome measures, and clinical feedback comparing both approaches. Special emphasis will be placed on pain reduction, functional improvement, and patient-reported satisfaction. The goal is to initiate a conversation about where Bowen fits within evidence-based practice and how it may offer a complementary or even superior option for certain patient populations suffering from back pain.
